About Me
During my 30+ years I find myself working particularly effective with important life transition stages, ie adolescents, young adult and mid-life. I view issues of loss, marriage, divorce, identity, vocation and aging as doorways to a deeper and more actualized life. Out of intensive study, practice and my own life experiences, I meet the client at their own unique crossroad. Together we engage in a journey of discovery and renewed possibilities.
I have worked in the "addiction and the family field" for three decades. I have had the privilege of treating and learning from hundreds of clients and their families over three decades. In addition, I have developed several highly successful treatment programs, taught at several colleges, and consult to agencies.
I am a warm, active, and engaging therapist. I hold a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, a masters degree in social work, I am a certified clinical supervisor (CCS) hold numerous certifications and am a Board Certified Diplomate. I bring to my clients years of education, extensive continuing education along with extensive post-doctoral training.
